Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dev Lakes (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data in connection with the Warshah software (the “Service”). It applies to our customers (workshop businesses and their staff) and to visitors of this website.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact data — name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of users you invite.
- Operational data you enter — the workshop records you create in the Service, which may include your customers’ names and contact details, vehicle information, job cards, estimates, and related documents.
- Usage & technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and log data generated when you use the Service.
- Payment data — handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our Merchant of Record, at checkout. We do not collect or store full card numbers; we receive limited information such as subscription status and the last digits of the card.
2. How we use information
- to provide, operate, maintain and secure the Service;
- to manage your subscription, billing and account, via Paddle, our Merchant of Record;
- to provide customer support and respond to enquiries;
- to improve and develop the Service;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Roles: controller and processor
For account and website data, we act as the data controller. For the operational data you enter about your own customers, you are the controller and we act as a processor handling that data on your behalf and under your instructions, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
4. Sharing & third parties
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, including:
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our Merchant of Record, to process subscription payments;
- cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate and store the Service;
- email and notification providers, to send transactional messages;
- authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to function, such as keeping you signed in and securing your session. We do not use cookies to sell your data.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including isolation of each workshop’s data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than Jordan. Where we do, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for that transfer.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If you are an end customer of one of our workshop customers, please contact that workshop, which controls your data.
10. Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
